Baller Bubs, Aussie Hoops and Hoopstars Return Term 4

Basketball NT is excited to open registrations for our Term 4 junior programs at Darwin Basketball Stadium. Whether your child is taking their very first steps onto the court or is ready for a taste of competition, there's a program to suit every age and stage.

Baller Bubs (Ages 2–4)

Our youngest players get moving with Baller Bubs, a fun, low-pressure introduction to basketball built around movement, coordination and simply enjoying the ball for the first time.

• Ages: 2–4

• Dates: 14 October – 2 December

• When: Wednesdays, 3:45–4:30 pm

• Where: Darwin Basketball Stadium

• Cost: $100

Aussie Hoops (Ages 4–8)

Aussie Hoops is Basketball Australia's flagship introductory program, teaching the fundamentals of the game through fun, structured activities designed specifically for young players. With three session times across the week, families can pick whatever fits best.

• Ages: 4–8

• Dates: 12 October – 5 December

• When:

  • Mondays, 3:45–4:30 pm

  • Wednesdays, 3:45–4:30 pm

  • Saturdays, 8:00–8:45 am

• Where: Darwin Basketball Stadium

Hoopstars (Ages 6–8)

Ready for the next step? Hoopstars bridges the gap between skill development and real competition, giving players their first taste of game-day basketball in a supportive, skill-building environment.

• Ages: 6–8

• Focus: Intro to competition

• Dates: 17 October – 5 December

• When: Saturdays, 7:45–8:45 am

• Where: Darwin Basketball Stadium
